HOLZ100 SHOWROOM
Purewood is a living example of the Erwin Thoma Holz100 construction system—a sanctuary crafted entirely from solid moonlight timber without toxic chemicals.
Founded by Erwin Thoma, the Holz100 system represents a paradigm shift in healthy living. By using moon-harvested timber and wooden dowels instead of glue, nails, or chemicals, we create a monolith of pure wood.
It is not just a building material; it is a bio-dynamic climate regulator that preserves the natural healing properties of the forest within your walls.
Pure mechanical joints with wooden dowels.
Active carbon sequestration in solid mass.
Natural humidity and thermal stability.
A tactile journey through modern wooden engineering.
Touch and inspect the varying thickness of our patented 100% wood panels, including thermal insulation layers.
Live sensors embedded in the Holz100 walls continuously measure humidity, temperature, CO₂, and VOC levels—compared side-by-side with a conventional construction sample. The data shows how solid wood naturally maintains indoor humidity between 45–60% without any mechanical climate control. This self-regulating behaviour is the bioenergetic property that Erwin Thoma has documented across three decades of forest science research.
Step into our acoustic demonstration space and hear what Erwin Thoma calls the "silence of the forest"—the natural absorption of sound by 40 cm of dense, solid wood mass. Unlike insulated stud walls that reflect or trap sound, Holz100 damps vibration at source, eliminating echo and reverberation entirely. Certified measurements confirm sound-reduction values that match or exceed those of heavy concrete construction.
Browse the complete technical library: ETA-05/0208 (European Technical Assessment for the Holz100 system), Cradle to Cradle Gold certification, Passive House compatibility reports from the PHI Darmstadt, thermal performance studies by the Austrian BFW Forest Research Institute, and peer-reviewed papers by Prof. Erwin Thoma on the bioenergetic properties of moon-harvested timber.
Technical details for large-span timber designs, fire safety regulations, and monolithic wood aesthetics for your high-end portfolio.
Understanding the speed of dry-assembly, logistical efficiency of prefabricated panels, and integration with modern HVAC systems.
Feeling the health benefits firsthand, planning your sanctuary, and understanding the long-term value of a chemical-free home.

"Nature does not build with glue. Neither should we."
— Erwin Thoma
"Visiting the Purewood showroom was a turning point. Feeling the warmth of the 40cm solid wood walls changed our entire perspective on thermal comfort."

"As an architect, the technical depth of the Holz100 system is fascinating. The showroom provides the raw evidence of how simple, intelligent engineering can outperform industrial layers."

"The sensor data was the decider. Seeing the humidity remain perfectly stable despite outside conditions confirmed everything I had read."

A standard showroom experience is a full day — approximately 8 hours including a guided technical tour, a one-on-one consultation, and an overnight stay in a Holz100 room. We recommend arriving in the morning to make the most of natural daylight during the wall and acoustic demonstrations.
Absolutely. The showroom is a family-friendly environment, and many of our visitors are families in the early stages of planning their future home. Children often respond strongly to the natural warmth and quiet of the space — it's a memorable first encounter with what living in solid wood actually feels like.
The showroom is located in Bielsko-Biała, in the Beskidy foothills of southern Poland. By car: from Kraków approx. 1.5 h, from Katowice approx. 45 min, from Warsaw approx. 5 h. Parking is available on site. If you are arriving by train, we are happy to arrange a pickup from Bielsko-Biała main station — just mention it when booking.
You will explore actual wall and floor cross-sections that you can touch and inspect, live climate sensor dashboards comparing Holz100 to conventional construction, dedicated acoustic demonstration rooms, and our full technical documentation library — including all certifications, BFW thermal studies, and Erwin Thoma research papers. It is a hands-on technical journey, not a sales presentation.
No visit is required to begin a project inquiry. However, almost every client who has come tells us the showroom visit was the moment they made their decision. The experience of touching the wood, breathing the air, and seeing the live sensor data is something a specification sheet cannot replicate — and it tends to answer questions you did not know you had.
A glimpse of the spaces where Holz100 comes to life.
